Addie's Friend Party, Christmas 2011

Addie had asked to have her new school friends over for a little party. We agreed that would be ok under one condition, she had to get her grades up and not get any alerts from school for an entire week. Well, she was able to follow through and so we rewarded her with a little party with her friends. It was Christmas themed since it was December after all.

I was so glad she made it, I really wanted her to be able to have her party. I am so thankful for all the good kids Addie has been able to make new friends with at school. It has been a difficult last 3 yrs as we've moved around due to Chase's lay off and new job. The kids had to leave friends and make new ones several times and it wasn't always easy and the kids weren't always very nice. So, I am thrilled for the good kids here at this school and am thankful to their awesome parents for raising them right.

Anyway, sorry to go off on a tangent. The kids had a lot of fun making cute little melted snow man cookies. We also played a game called "Stuff Santa". Stuff Santa has become a popular game with our family. We first played it in UT before we moved at the kids' going away party with their friends before we left. The kids put on my maternity and fat clothes and we stuffed them with as many balloons as you can fit in within a certain time. Idealy you have 2 people and you race, but with only a few kids, we just tried to fit in all the balloons and took turns being the stuffers and the stuffees.
