Tuesday we drove down the hill to Fontana to visit Chase's dad at his fire station. It was a lot of fun and the kids got to see everything about the fire station. The kids got to "work out" in the exercise room. Jack(Chase's dad) took everyone for a ride in the fire truck and then let the kids take turns squarting the hose. Emery took a special liking to the fire truck and didn't want to get down. She got all black from the tires trying to climb back up. Also, one thing we discovered at the fire station was all the loose change that had fallen out of the firefighters' pockets in the recliners in their T.V. room. The kids were ecstatic as they ran from one chair to the next looking for loose change. After the fire station the kids helped buy a small treat from Trader Joe's with their new found money. Of course my camera dies right before the kids start spraying the hose, so Barbara went and got their disposable camera from their car and hopefully I will have some pics of that later as well. It was a very exciting and fun day!

ReplyDeleteSorry, maybe I should have asked everybody which pictures they didn't mind me posting. I still like them though : ). I really don't know very many people, so they probably won't be getting much viewing.
