My New Favorite Place to Eat

Chase's family introduced us to Overland Meat Co. in Apple Valley this summer. It is now on my favorite places to eat list. I had turkey on Squaw bread. I have no idea what Squaw bread is, but it was delicious. Chase ordered pastrami on something, don't know what kind of bread he had. If you ever get a chance to visit this deli, I whole heartedly encourage you to do so. I will miss the yumminess that I will probably never get to revel in for a very, very long time. Run, if you can and go get yourself a sandwich!

Visiting Great Grandma Fox 8-7-10

We got to visit Chase's Grandma Natalie during our summer stay in CA. We wanted to get down to see her before Chase left for the firefighter academy in TX. Molly was also able to come down with us. The kids got to pick out stuffed animals. Cam is also now the proud owner of a pretty cool magnifying glass, and a huge blue squishy bouncy ball. Joelle had a lot of fun playing with Cam's ball which was almost bigger than her. Chase took the kids for a ride on Grandma Fox's golf cart which is always a blast. They drove around the pond and saw some cool birds. Also, the ducks decided to chase them around and even cut across the pond to head them off on the other side. They gave up chase once they realized they didn't have any food to hand out. Chase took some video which was pretty funny. I will try to put that on here later, or you can go to Chase's blog to watch it. It's an older post of course, since I'm a little behind on documenting what we did over the summer. We had an enjoyable time and the kids always have fond memories of visiting with Grandma Fox.

Never Put Santa in Jail

One of Cam's favorite things to do over the summer was play with the legos. One day I observed him building something which turned out to be a jail. As I was walking by I noticed that Prince Charming and Santa Claus were in the jail together and Cameron was saying..."You shouldn't do that, I'm Santa Claus! You won't get any presents!" .

Cam and Addie decided to perform a bunch of magic tricks for me one day. They are pretty funny to watch.
