Just Because/7-6-10
Aunt Ceri took the kids shopping and bought some cute plaid shorts and matching shirts. Shortly after, all the kids happened to be wearing their matching outfits so I decided to take the photo opp. One pic is from later in the day, the other when Joelle was wearing a different, more 'drooly' outfit. Thanks Ceri for the cute clothes!
Joelle Rolls Over/7-7-10
I was in the middle of changing Joelle for bed one night when I left her for a minute to go get something. I hadn't even snapped up her onsie. Anyway, I came back and sat down on the floor by her and all of a sudden she just flipped over. Then she flipped back over again the opposite way. I was completely shocked! All of my previous children had always taken forever to figure out rolling over, because they hated being on their stomachs to practice. I hadn't done too much tummy time because of previous experience and just figured out that when my kids were ready to do it, they would. I was amazed at how fast she figured this out, now she's all over the place and I'm sure she will be crawling soon. The pictures I took were of different phazes of rolling over. I wish I had made a movie instead. I will include a movie of her rolling over later, though.

Swimming at Mrs. Hansen's/7-3-10
Chase's parents have a sweet neighbor named Sue Hansen. She has always been kind enough to let us go swimming at her house quite often. I have taken a ton of swimming pictures this summer, so sorry if you're getting sick of them. I should have taken a picture of Mrs. Hansen. I'm also including a funny movie that I took of the kids. The quality isn't very good, but it's pretty funny if you have the time to watch. Well, ok it looks like I can't put the video on yet, it keeps telling me to contact support about it failing. I will try to put it on later.

Making Pizza
It's no secret that making pizza and monkey bread with Grandma is a favorite past time for the kids. Grandma gets out her huge sheet pan, and I mean huge, the thing is the size for industrialized ovens. She spreads out the dough and the rest is history. The kids spread the sauce, cheese, and toppings all over it. Grandma is a braver woman than I am. Usually, pizza sauce and kids for me does not sound like a good combination, but the kids really did a great job with little clean up.
