Addie's Baptism

I'm posting this late, but here are pictures from Addie's Baptism. She got baptized on March 6th. I was kind of out of it having just had Joelle, but was able to make it. It was a very special day for everyone, especially Addison. There was only one other kid in our ward getting baptized the same day, so our family was in charge of half the program. Grandpa Beebe said the prayer, Grandma Beebe gave a talk on the Holy Ghost, I gave a spotlight, and all the kids from both families sang "I am a Child of God" . Lots of family were able to come and be with Addie on her special day. Addie looked beautiful in her pretty white dress. After Addie stepped out of the water and I helped her dry off I asked her how she felt. She told me she felt warm and tingly inside. After the baptism we went back to the house and had some sandwiches, cream puffs, and a huge chocolate cake. Aunt Rachel, Uncle Glen, Cousins Noah and Jaron brought Addie a fun balloon. Addie also got a special book to remember her baptism. We still need to go and have Addie pick out her scriptures. We are very proud of Addie and her decision to get baptized.

Addie's Spotlight

Addie is a very happy, sweet, and silly girl with a ready smile. She loves to make friends and is a great friend to others. Addie is always thinking of others by drawing and coloring pictures and making things for people. Her specialty right now is drawing very good likenesses of Phineas and Ferb and Sponge Bob characters and fairies. Addie is an excellent artist and takes after her Grandma Fox.

Among some of Addie's other favorite things to do is Irish Step Dance, playing the piano, and playing with her friends, sisters, and brother. Addie also enjoys collecting Littlest Pet Shops and other random things like rocks, leaves, and even the occasional potato bug.

Addie is an excellent sister and loves to play with and help her siblings. She is also a big help to Mom and Dad. We love Addie very much and are so proud of her decision to be baptized today. We are thankful for her fun, sweet spirit in our home.
